CLASSES Maggie teaches throughout the greater Portland, Maine area. With extensive class offerings morning, noon and night, she hopes to accommodate the busy schedule of her students. She currently teaches at Railroad Building Room #240 (Dragonfly Taijiquan, Bay Club Fitness, South Portland Community Center and her home studio.

CLASSIC NIA
: Suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Bring your water, towel, matt and desire to dance!

GENTLE NIA: Designed for new and returning students, students with special physical considerations and anyone searching for a more gentle class. Gentle Nia is taught at a level I, the most intrinsic, close to the body movements, with an emphasis on breath and balance for body, mind and spirit. Incorporating Nia’s five sensations and five stages of healing, students will leave class feeling limber, renewed and refreshed.

MOMMY AND ME NIA: Experience the joy of movement with your little one! In our special Nia class, you and your child will play, dance and explore together. Working with sensations, free dance movements and lots of vocalization and breath, we will spend an hour of pure bliss together. Newborns and toddlers invited. DISCOVERING NIA CLINIC: Ever feel like you have two left feet? Avoid the mirrors in class? Demystify the steps and stances of Nia and uncover your inner dancer. Each one hour private clinic will focus on your body’s way to move and help you build the confidence needed to embrace your beauty as you dance through life. WORKSHOPS-RETREATS Join Maggie for one of her exhilarating Nia workshops. She offers a “New to Nia” workshop in varied locations year round. She has created many specialized workshops for the community on relaxation, releasing, and deepening connections to music and Nia.
