Maggie Bokor
has a driving passion to help people discover the joy within their own bodies. Maggie brings wisdom, humor and endless enthusiasm into every Nia experience.  She creates a comfortable environment where students can truly be themselves, empowering them to make their own choices and celebrate their divine uniqueness.

Recently trained as a Blue Belt Instructor with Nia founders Debbie Rosas and Carlos Rosas, Maggie earned her White Belt in 2004 with Denise Medved and has been dancing through life ever since. She moved from Annapolis, Maryland to Portland, Maine in 2006, to establish her practice where her heart has always been. Maggie finds Maine’s Nia community vibrant, growing and deeply satisfying.

Through Nia, Maggie has found a way to reconnect with her own body and conquer personal challenges with weight and panic attacks. She has transformed from inside out. In gratitude and joy, Maggie shares with her students the gifts of Nia that enable them to break through their own perceived limitations.

In addition to her Nia and Reiki practices, Maggie is a fine artist currently working in paint, metals and clay. She shows her work in Portland area stores and galleries. You can learn more about her art at www.maggiebokor.com.
